POWELL, WYOMING – The Áñ—†Ö±²¥ EMS program will hold a special coining ceremony for graduates of its most recent cohort on Thursday, July 24, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center.
The ceremony is based on a tradition passed down from the military, with graduates receiving a Áñ—†Ö±²¥-specific coin to carry for their careers. Possessing the challenge coin signifies their membership in a select group of people who have graduated from the Áñ—†Ö±²¥ Paramedic program. A total of six students will receive coins this year, marking the third cohort to move through the program since its inception.
